Future Brands is a an integrated team that seeds and expands existing PEP brands for growth. It is a standalone team that subcontracts country BU / external partners as needed.
The team is characterized as a test vehicle for ESSA in terms of brand building and digital activation and requires a blend of experienced capability with fresh, entrepreneurial thinking.
Purpose of the role and overall relevance for the Organization :
Reveal the potential of Play Small Win Big innovative brands and cutting-edge products by bringing them to life via excellent execution of Go-
To-Markets, marketing and operational strategies. Manage key initiatives and projects in Prague across multiple platforms both online and in retail, be an active team member in cross-
functional teams. Deliver a rich digital & offline experience to the consumers and drive specific KPIs in conjunction with both relevant internal and external resources.
Key areas of responsibilities are :
Managing brand activations : localize and produce all brand assets (incl. product artworks); execute brand campaigns in Prague by working closely with central team;
support rest of CEGB (Central Europe & Balkans) team in Warsaw and Bratislava to prepare for and execute key brand activities
Agency and A&M budget management : lead and manage relations with all external partners to deliver brand activation calendar on time & in full with best-
in-class execution. Budget management includes processing invoices, budget tracking and reporting.
Support trade activations and support relations with Customers : help to prepare detailed market and competitors analysis;
translate / localize brands selling stories; produce sales kits and execute in-store and sampling activations with key Customers to support sales and deliver Net Revenue targets.
Managing digital media buying and influencer campaigns for the market. Deliver clear reviews of activity performance vs.
plan and define future recommendations to optimise / improve digital performance.
Share best practise and new findings with wider Future Brands ESSA team incl. opportunities to Lift & Shift best practises, content creation synergies, cross-
market agencies, and innovative technologies or other solutions from partners. Support Test & Learn framework joint priorities to drive future growth aligned with central PSWB team and with Digital CoE team.
Cultural trendwatching & building relations with local creative tribes & influencers : keep up up to date with the strategic digital landscape (consumers, competitors, technologies, etc.
to identify new innovation-enabled business initiatives; connect, influence and engage with the local opinion leaders in an authentic way to cultivate community and build a strong network of ambassadors and Tier 1 touchpoints for the brands.
Create efficiency : constantly focus on refining, developing and innovating brand experience in offline to meet overall Play Small Win Big concept needs.
Qualifications / Requirements
Our expectations :
Czech language a MUST, English language fluent.
1-2 years of junior brand manager experience in FMCG with proven results to innovatively build brand awareness, brand love and sales using smart channels mix (big focus on digital channels).
Track record of delivery of results against tight deadlines.
Digital native : digital must be your passion. Constantly updated on new trends, social media fanatic, you should know and explain technologies relevance and best cases from brands around the globe but always from the brand management lens : understand consumer / user journey and insights, customers needs, business objectives and ROI principles.
Commercial - demonstrate that they value commercial results with examples of ROI delivery.
Solid knowledge around briefing process and managing agency relationships and deliverables. Significant understanding of production inclusive of materials, timelines, etc.
Innovative, nimble and agile - comfortable challenging status quo, bringing creativity to problem-solving through the use of innovative frameworks and technological solutions.
Excellent communication skills strong ability to engage and influence multiple stakeholders to build strong working relationships, with an aptitude to galvanize teams and get buy in from a matrix organization.
Proactive approach - drive sales and customer engagement whilst taking others with you.
Strong analytical skills create robust analysis and meaningful insights to drive actions and highlight opportunities.
