Job Description

We are looking for our new colleagues who can help us with the transition to a serverless architecture. Our business is a telecom and we develop and maintain BSS solutions for the mobile operators on the Norwegian market.

If you are skilled or want to educate yourself in AWS technology we offer you a participation in our team in Ostrava. You will gain knowledge of telecom area specifics, cooperate and learn from the skilled Telco BSS consultants and developers, get the insight on how a telecom operator runs its business.

Our team works in agile mode, our backend micro-components are written in java, front-end applications use ReactJS, we are openminded and innovative.

You will be part of it.

What will be your job about :

technical responsibility for a component

design, maintenance and further development of cloud-native high availability system in AWS

design and efficient implementation of new features in AWS environment

integrating with other systems and designing REST APIs

AWS cost optimizations

communication, dialogue with architects, business customers and colleagues in the team

improvements and innovations

you will have a lot of opportunities for working with high availability, autoscaling and self-healing ready applications in AWS

Competences you will use :

Java and a little bit of Python and Typescript

Serverless architecture (Lambda, DynamoDB)

Messaging (SNS, SQS, Kafka)

EC2, Security groups, S3, Cloudwatch, Autoscaling

Cluster ECS

Infrastructure as a code - Terraform

Docker

Security, logging, monitoring in AWS

Other skills

agile way of working, openness to change, willingness to learn

if you are a developer with Java, Springboot competence it’s even better!

you should have a very good English to be able to speak with our colleagues in Oslo

if you like travelling we are more than happy because time to time it’s good to visit our customer in Norway (BTW : the nature and landscapes in Norway are amazing ;)
