EEMEA Blood Bank Marketing Manager
Location : Eastern Europe, Middle East, Turkey, Africa
Report to : Senior Marketing manager Product Management EEMEA
EEMEA Blood Bank Marketing Manager will have responsibility for the following key areas :
In collaboration with EEMEA Product Management team, establish value proposition and positioning of Beckman Coulter Diagnostics portfolio to address Blood Bank Account needs
Establish strategic plan for Beckman Coulter portfolio in Blood Bank accounts in EEMEA Regions.
Build tools and coach local Marketing, Sales, and Applications teams to increase install base and manage blood bank customer engagement and experience
Represent EEMEA region for Blood Bank Market to Global Marketing and Business Units
Deliver on EEMEA Blood Bank business goals in collaboration with regional VPs, Directors, and GMs by driving profitable market share gain in direct and indirect markets
Be first point of contact in Regional Marketing for Business Unit in case of Field Action deployment
Strategic Business Management Processes
Lead the regions’ cross-functional efforts to establish a leadership position for Beckman Coulter in the EEMEA blood bank market.
Deliver the strategic direction and plans to meet financial commitments through an integrated customer, segment, brand, category, and route-to-market strategy for the region for blood bank
Negotiate, define, manage, and monitor, all appropriate blood bank marketing and sales campaigns for the region.
Working with Global and the BUs, establish a clear and consistent messaging framework for region, country, and channel partner activities.
Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the Company’s and various BU’s business strategies to leverage the technology (platform) investments of the BUs with the assets and capabilities of the region.
Tailor plans and strategies to diverse needs and conditions across EEMEA markets.
Product and Segment Marketing
Deliver financial (revenue, margin, etc.) and market commitments by region, product, and customer segment on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
Flawlessly execute on new product launch excellence
Define and execute performance management processes across the region and linking to Global / Corporate, BUs, and the corporation.
Set and track performance against established metrics. Drive the critical measurement and tracking activities including market size, market share, customer satisfaction, and ROI, etc.
Provide robust customer requirements / input to the product development / NPI process of the BUs
Maintain competitive and market intelligence communication flows between the field team and the marketing groups (regions, platforms, etc.)
Lead marketing insights and analytics generation and incorporation into strategic plans
Facilitate connection between local teams and global functions to quickly solve customer problems
Focus : Customer Engagement / Experience
Drive the activities needed to create awareness and preference for Blood Bank Beckman Coulter offerings, and for the generation of the programs and leads to build the funnel, shorten the sales cycle, close business, and meet financial targets.
Lead the strategy and execution of activities to increase loyalty of current customers, generating additional revenue opportunities, and selling in additional BEC Dx products and solutions.
Drive action plan and communication in case of Field Action deployment
Focus : Marketing Cost Management
Ensure that the annual regional Blood Bank marketing plan is in line and achievable with the expected funding levels.
Collaborate with Global marketing to define the optimal marketing mix that will achieve the performance goals for the region and exploit regional cross-category opportunities.

The ideal candidate for the EEMEA Blood Bank Marketing Manager will have :
Ten (10) plus years of Marketing experience in Blood Bank market
A demonstrated track record of execution and achievement in Marketing or Market Development role.
The ability to effectively influence, relate to, and communicate with both front line employee (e.g., sales reps) and C-Level leadership with concise communication that will advance sales opportunities and satisfy customer requirements.
Exceptional analytical and critical thinking capabilities.
Ability to build strong relationships and collaborative partnerships with cross functional partners to execute on shared goals.
Ability to think strategically about business, structure, process and priorities.
Demonstrated ability to gain credibility through successful leadership in a matrix environment across a range of functions, positions and levels
Empathy to understand customer decision factors and to digest, synthesize and share in-depth customer knowledge across the organization.
Ability to travel at least 50%, primarily international travel.
A bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Medical Technology or related discipline, MBA or other graduate degree preferred.
