NextGen Ways of Working (NGWoW) is a global BCG priority initiative to make BCG the first choice for clients and talent.

NGWoW’s objective is to create maximum impact for our clients while integrating our growing range of capabilities within multidisciplinary teams - building a sustainable environment for all our staff, accelerating the adoption of Agile mindsets and ways of working and leveraging digital tools to maximize team efficiency and transparency, and ultimately, creating impact in our client organizations.

This role is a dynamic one, and the duties of this role will evolve over time.

As the NextGen WoW Coach, you will be responsible for supporting further development, validation and roll-out of the NextGen approach.

Included in this will be helping develop and implement our approaches to Multi-Disciplinary teaming, Agile teams, Hybrid ways of working, and next-gen travel approaches for our digital and other teams.

You will do this through testing crucial elements of NextGen approach in different settings (e.g. types of cases, geographies, team compositions).

You will work closely across our businesses, cross-functional teams, our People teams, and leadership to drive engagement and integration of NGWOW into our digital businesses, teams and cases.

You will help drive our outreach, upskilling, and communications programs and ensure learnings are captured by the team members driving elements across this critical roll-out (e.

g. L&D, communication, tool development).

You will be able to demonstrate and further perfect your :

  • Skills as a coach, mentor & team shaper, innovating the way BCG teams work in their most important case projects.
  • Skills related to value creation, team building, establishment of psychological safety, agile methodologies and digital collaboration.
  • Potential to influence decision makers and key BCG partners

    We are looking for someone who relishes working in a fast-paced, excellence-driven team. We are seeking an individual who has a passion for people topics and delivering outstanding customer service, is highly organized, is energized by complex process and project management, and who is keen to develop and challenge themselves in a diverse team setting with constantly evolving processes, and operational norms.

    To be successful in this role, you will need to have the ability to think on your feet, be solution-oriented, and communicate at all levels of the BCG organization to deliver quality experiences for our participants and facilitators.

    You will also need to demonstrate that you can work independently and collaborate with a team, that you can effectively handle multiple priorities, and can comfortably adapt to last minute changes and demands.

  • Coaching teams, executives and individuals from different backgrounds and with different skillsets.
  • Adopting and flex a range of coaching styles to fit the needs of the team / counterpart
  • Enabling individuals and groups to apply a wide range of NextGen Methods, including but not limited to Psychological safety, Agile, Digital collaboration tools and more.
  • Excelling in a fast-paced, intellectually energizing, client-focused environment where you can innovate and experiment.
  • Self-motivation and resourcefulness, looking to find and deliver the best outcome.
  • Collaborating and enjoy developing joint solutions with an iterative approach.
  • Influencing and efficiently persuading, working with multiple partners and building on the different points of view.
  • YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)

    Executive coaching experience

    Ideally 8 years professional experience with growing levels of responsibility (acting as a team leader), ideally within consulting / professional services

    Key Competencies :

  • Mature coaching skills
  • Able to perform successfully in a fast-paced, global, intellectually intense, service-oriented environment, keeping with BCG’s values and culture
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to communicate with all organizational levels inside and outside BCG by establishing positive and productive working relationships
  • Strong communication skills; able to communicate confidently and articulately; able to influence multiple stakeholders to adopt a new point of view while being flexible with adjusting your own perspective in light of new information or constraints
  • High integrity, tact, a positive attitude, and the ability to maintain absolute confidentiality
  • Active team player, autonomous, able to manage ambiguity, and self-motivated
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills (including PowerPoint, Excel and Word)
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English and in any of the Slavic languages, or in Hungarian
  • YOU'LL WORK WITH

    You will be part of the CEE People team that supports consulting team members across CEE countries, reporting to our CEE People Senior Manager.
