Primary job responsibilities include :

Join us as we manage and extend our core IT services to support the growth of our business into the intersection of healthcare, information and technology.

This position will be responsible for collaborating with business partners in Manufacturing organization to develop and implement line management systems for printing and proof-

reading serialized 2D codes across MSD manufacturing sites with packaging operations.

This requires working with Antares and Systech system vendors and IT central teams on standardized system development roadmap, system verification and testing, implementation frameworks, and post start-

up higher level support. This role will also be responsible for assisting with the implementation of server side of solutions to utilize the serialization data.

We are seeking a technologist that can work with diverse groups, technologies, in a GMP environment that will allow MSD to maintain the quality of our products, improve the reliability of our plants, improve productivity, and lower product costs.

On a day to day basis :

  • Develop, execute, and operationalize systems and integrations for line management systems between vendors and manufacturing sites.
  • Collaborate with a variety of IT groups including infrastructure, database, analytics, and PMO.
  • Create and execute testing in a GMP environment.
  • Be able to respond to audit requests and be part of inspection readiness process.
  • Create and review GMP SDLC documentation.
  • Technical understanding to be able to create installations using various technologies.
  • Hands on to deliver testing, documentation, installation, and change controls for assigned scope and facilitate with site partners for site managed scope.

  • Qualifications

    We are seeking professionals with the following qualifications, skills and Experience :

    Education Minimum Requirement :

    MSc Degree or BSc Degree or equivalent with relevant experience in Computer Science, Computer Science Engineering, Engineering or equivalent experience

    Experience / Technical Skills :

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree with at least 5 years of relevant work experience in manufacturing system IT.
  • Experience implementing systems utilizing formal systems development lifecycle methodologies in a manufacturing regulated environment.
  • General knowledge of automation systems, manufacturing processes.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a passion for continuous improvement.
  • Flexibility is required to interact globally across time zones.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and develop working relationships with multiple stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate across sites.
  • High motivation and strong client focus.
  • Preferred Experience and Skills :

  • Experience with Line Management systems or Manufacturing Execution IT systems in manufacturing shop floor; preferably in life sciences / pharmaceutical industry.
  • Experience with applying ITIL methodology.
  • Experience with manufacturing shop floor processes and / or technologies
  • Experience with Serialization systems or systems managing unique identifiers; preferably from Antares or Systech vendors
