We are looking for a new addition to our technical sales support team in our Operations Centre in , we are looking for you.

In this position you will be at the very beginning of the preparation of the technical offer for our customers, you will be in daily communication with the team in Switzerland and the sales people for the ABB product area () and together you will prepare the offer for our customers.

As part of this position, you will also have the opportunity to visit directly the facility where the customer will be using our products.

The customers for whom you will be preparing technical bids are in the mining, minerals and cement industries worldwide.

Your responsibilities

  • Preparation of technical proposals in the field of automation for our customers
  • Communicating with the customer to find the best technical solution
  • Collaboration with other departments such as sales, product management, finance, legal, project management, logistics including liaising with the end customer to prepare the bid
  • Reviewing existing offers, extending offers and also preparing new offers so that the final offer meets all the required technical parameters
  • Being responsible for the entire bidding process from the initial preparation phase to the actual delivery of the bid to the customer
  • Taking care of updating marketing and sales presentations and documents
  • Working closely with a team of colleagues in Switzerland
  • You may also participate in a site visit to our customer's site before the actual preparation of the offer
  • Your background

  • English at a communicative level (daily communication with the team in Switzerland and our customers)
  • You are technically and pro-customer oriented
  • Knowledge of how automation control applications work ()
  • You are interested in preparing technical documentation
  • Experience with MS Office tools - Word and Excel
  • Willingness to travel directly to the customer on occasion (occasional business trips for short periods of time)
  • Another foreign language at a communicative level (German or Spanish) is an advantage
  • Practical experience in automation solutions (, Siemens, MES / MOM etc.) is an advantage
