Purpose of role
Reporting to the CDKI Reporting Lead, this role supports the overall objectives of the International Controllership team, ensuring accurate reporting of CDK International financial performance in compliance with US GAAP and CDK policy, and maintaining a strong internal control environment through timely and effective review of results submitted by Regional Finance teams.
The Analyst is organised with excellent communication, planning and time management skills in addition to an excellent attention to detail.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Manage the end-to-end closing / reporting process from individual country Navision submissions; upload to management / external reporting systems;
related reconciliations; review and approval of Central journals
Coordinate and ensure accurate recording of accounting entries for other accounting areas managed at an International level, in conjunction with other members of the International Controllership team (e.
g. Restructuring, Litigation, bonus)
Support the CDKI Reporting Lead in preparing various elements of the monthly and quarterly Corporate reporting
Assist and participate in country Balance Sheet reviews and support the CDKI Reporting Lead in preparing balance sheet variance analysis for presentation to Corporate
Proactively identify any areas where there is diversity in accounting practice across different CDKI entities served by the BSC and work with the appropriate stakeholders to standardise and apply best in class practice across all entities
Provide support to external and internal audit teams, as required, in connection with the US GAAP year-end audit, SOX testing and any other ad-hoc audit queries
Liaise with partners as required on financial analysis and reporting matters
Ad hoc financial analysis and data generation
Participate in projects to improve existing, or create and implement new processes to enable a high level of service delivery

Skills / Knowledge & Experience
Ability to work independently, proposing appropriate accounting outcomes, based on a detailed analysis of all relevant facts
Previous exposure to SOX compliance requirements
Experience in consolidation / aggregation and group reporting preferred
Experience of working on ERP Finance systems preferred
Experience of working for an International Company would be advantageous
Experience of working in a Service centre would be advantageous
Experience working in a Company reporting under US GAAP
Formal professional Financial qualification preferred
Proficient English language skills
Excellent collaboration skills
