At the HPE Global TecHub team we support our HPE Sales colleagues and partners with the technical help they need to fulfil HPE’s mission : helping customers use technology to accelerate turning their ideas into business value.
TecHub is a technical team supporting our users with the deepest level of product- and technology-specific expertise available in the HPE sales organisation.
This expertise is delivered as a set of services withactivities including designing, configuring and describing technology solutions from HPE products, answering technical questions and helping create proposals to answer customer RFPs or other tenders.
We are a very international team made up of over 65 architects of 19 different nationalities speaking 17 languages, and serving users from more than 70 countries each month.

We are searching forcandidates who speak English to support the HPE business in the UK and Ireland region.The ideal candidate for a TecHub Technology Architectmust have great communication skills and a technical background with understanding of enterprise IT hardware and concepts, and be willing to learn and deepen that knowledge.

Understands customer business requirements from a technical viewpoint and uses technical expertise to propose and configure solutions which help customers achieve their business goals
Answers technical questions on HPE products within SLA
Professionally manages customer expectations and responds to customer concerns
Acquires, maintains, grows and demonstrates technical knowledge of HPE’s technology and solutions and deepens expertise within area of specialisation
Demonstrates technical competence in customer / partner communications
Shares knowledge and experience with peers
Takes on additional tasks and responsibilities as he / she grows into the role (product lead, coordinator or similar tasks which involve support within and outside of the team)
Trains and coaches new colleagues
Administrative activities related to mentioned content of work
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree or above in the field of computer science, engineering and related fields, or corresponding years of relevant work experience
3-5 years of experience in technology industry, ideally with focus on technical consulting and solution selling. Graduate positions also possible.
Knowledge and Skills
Excellent English - Native or C1 / C2
Knowledge of IT concepts, understanding of networking, IT solutions and overall enthusiasm for technology
Industry-recognized certification (Microsoft, Cisco etc.) an advantage
Demonstrated customer service or technical selling skills, preferably with international customers
Analytical, problem detection and solving skills
Willing and able to continuously deepen technical knowledge and learn about new products and technologies
Customer oriented always places the customer first
Team player, ability to collaborate effectively in an international, multi-cultural environment and maintain good relationships with team members and customers
