The Center for Autism and Related Disorders, LLC (CARD) is the world’s largest and most experienced organizations effectively treating individuals of all ages who are diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder.

CARD was founded in 1990 by leading autism expert and clinical psychologist Doreen Granpeesheh, PhD, BCBA-D. CARD treats individuals with ASD using the principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA), which is empirically proven to be the most effective method for treating individuals with ASD and recommended by the American Academy of Pediatrics and the US Surgeon General.

With locations throughout US and internationally, CARD’s mission is to provide access to top-quality treatment all over the world.

Through its network of trained technicians, behavior analysts, and researchers, CARD develops and implements quality, comprehensive, and individualized treatment programs that lead to success.

The Region Manager serves as the business lead for their respective area. The Region Manager is responsible for overall growth, financial wellbeing, and development of the centers within their assigned area.

Region Managers are responsible for setting and meeting individual center performance. Region Managers are responsible for ensuring that members of administrative staff are trained, supported and pursue excellence in their work.

The Operation Managers and the Group Clinical Mangers, all report directly to the Region Manager. This is a salaried, exempt, full-time position.

  • Responsible for overseeing overall operation of assigned centers from a fiscal, clinical, technical, regulatory, personnel, business management and growth perspective
  • Represent CARD in a positive manner and uphold all CARD standards and values
  • Represent CARD professionally and ethically to internal and external stakeholders
  • Oversee growth and development of region’s centers
  • Develop direct reports to grow in leadership and professional skills, managing each in accordance with company policies in an equal manner that ensures confidentiality
  • Work with center leadership on developing optimal staff and patient schedules to ensure all clinical staff are meeting their minimum billable and clinical quality requirements
  • Regularly meet 1 : 1 with direct reports to plan and achieve of monthly, quarterly and annual projections based on financial and clinical quality management objectives.
  • Responsible for working with OMs to set and achieve financial and clinical quality
  • Partner with the Group and Division Clinical Manager to review the implementation of policies and protocols to ensure clinical compliance with practice standards
  • Conduct and assist center leadership with necessary Corrective Action Plan development, implementation and follow through as required
  • Drive business decisions that pertain to the wellbeing of the centers
  • Build and maintain positive partnerships with regional funding sources (school districts and regional centers), policy makers, lawyers, service providers, physicians, and parent organizations
  • Implement procedures based on CARD policy to improve clinical service and performance as a company
  • Respond to all requests in a timely manner
  • Provide on-going quality training to clinical and administrative staff utilizing the resources provided by CARD
  • Meet with local OMs and their respective technicians when technician matters arise that need immediate and effective resolution
  • Attend all required leadership meetings
  • Follow all quality assurance and training guidelines
  • Build and maintain productive, positive and cooperative working relationships with the center(s) staff
  • Maintain patient privacy in accordance with CARD policy
  • Adhere to applicable laws including educations laws, human resources laws, and ethical standards for the treatment of patients
  • Attend required trainings and meetings
  • Ensure CARD’s standards are implemented and followed at the local level
  • Demonstrated fluent knowledge of CARD services and products
  • Implement all corporate protocols as specified
  • Provide a safe and supportive environment for patients, families and colleagues
  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA requirements at all times
  • Challenge the status quo and work through constructive conflict
  • Advise on employee promotions, transfers, and dismissals
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Minimum of five years’ experience in Autism or related healthcare field
  • Minimum of 3 years multi-center management with P&L oversight
  • BS / BA required, Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in a related field preferred
  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst Certification and / or Licensed Professional preferred for candidates coming from a clinical background preferred
  • Proven people-management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and industry related software programs
  • Willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time or based on the needs of the Region

    Includes both a typical office environment, with minimal exposure to excessive noise or adverse environmental issues, and overnight travel as needed based on Region needs.

    Mode of transportation for travel typically will include automobile and plane.


    Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time.
