In-depth understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work. In-depth understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for managing the business cycle- 3 year plan, budget, forecasts at each level of the organization. Define KPIs to measure the performance in all areas of the organization- mfg.
  • R&D, eng, supply, commissioning. Analyze the performance and propose action plans to improve profitability and cash generation as well as corrective action plans as needed.

  • Developing in-depth knowledge of a discipline. Uses prior experience and acquired expertise to execute functional policy / strategy.
  • A job at this level is likely to be an individual contributor, with proven interpersonal skills. Communication with direct colleagues and the business about design and coordination services rendered.
  • Provides informal guidance to new team members. Explains complex information to others in straightforward situations.

  • Impacts projects, processes and procedures in own field. The role operates with some autonomy, but is focused on execution of activities / provision of advice within an enabling discipline covered by standard functional practices and procedures.
  • Activities require professional judgment, but may require more senior levels of guidance.

  • Utilizes technical expertise and judgement to solve problems. Leverages technical skills and analytic thinking required to solve problems.
  • May use multiple internal sources outside of own team to arrive at decisions.

    Basic Qualifications / Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Solid PC skills : experience with financial systems / applications (i.e. : Oracle, Hyperion), strong Excel skills in data compilation and aggregation (i.
  • e. pivot tables, Vlookup and macros)

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate complex business issues in a clear / concise manner
  • Language skills : fluent in English (written & spoken)
  • Strong analytical skills : able to clearly link financial results to operational performance drivers, generate alternatives and drive positive change, provides data driven insights
  • Confidence / Assertiveness : strong influencing skills across business functions, execute with a high sense of urgency, and ability to constructively challenge the status quo
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence others and drive change while working across all levels, functions, and regions
  • Integrity : accepting and adhering to high moral, ethical, and personal values in decisions, communications, actions and when dealing with others
  • Desired Characteristics

  • Language skills : Czech / Slovak a strong benefit
  • GE FMP experience preferred
  • Proven Lean experience : significantly experienced in successfully implementing Lean / Lean Projects in an operational and industrial business setting
  • Experience working in a matrixed environment
  • Adaptable / Flexible : being open to change in response to new information, different or unexpected circumstances, and / or to work in ambiguous situations
