The Team : Sales Development European Team This team in partnership with our Field Sales Engineers, will drive new market share acquisition in rapidly growing markets.
We are expanding the SDE team who will initiate and develop conversations with strategic targets to help convert marketing leads into new accounts.
The Role : Sales Development Engineer (SDE) This person will gain training in Cognex products, as well as the company’s proven sales process.
They will learn and understand the commercial benefits and value propositions of all products. After 12-18 months, a successful SDE becomes an ideal candidate for future Field Sales Engineer openings and other opportunities within Cognex.
Essential Functions : Support of our Central Europe sales teams You will be based in our Prague and / or Home Office Onboarding will take place in our Prague Office Qualification and processing of customer inquiries Proactive and independent customer acquisition via telephone calls Telephone support of our regional partners Manage sales relevant customer master data in the CRM system Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities : In addition to Czech and English other language capabilities will be of advantage Proficient in using MS Office package Autonomous after appropriate trainings, Structured way of working Excellent team spirit, dedicated, flexible Strong communication skills Minimum education and work experience required : Degree from a business school and looking for your first challenge in the sales department of an international company #LI-PM1 Additional Job Description
