About the role :
We are looking for a new colleague for our solution support team, supporting billing applications. You will be responsible for providing consultation, guidance and problem solving expertise with respect to technical or infrastructure issues to ensure that a robust, maintainable service is provided.
You will be dealing with people both on a business level and IT level of understanding and you will act as the technical point of contact to fix their application and systems issues that disrupt the service they depend upon.
You will experience a unique working environment - working with team members based in Prague, Czech Republic and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
We will literally bring the world to you by letting you support the billing activities of 200+ countries and territories across the globe. What you will do :
Provide application support for key DHL Express system
Supports Incident, Problem and Emergency Incident Management as required, prioritize requests in accordance with agreed criteria and the needs of the organization in accordance with SLAs
Carry out specific assignments related to your technical expertise, either alone or as part of a team in order to achieve the milestone.
Investigate problems and other requests for support and determine appropriate actions.
Liaise with staff responsible for the development of system enhancements to overcome known problems Applications and technologies you will use :
Unix / Linux RHEL
Informix DB You should have :
Advanced knowledge of Unix / Linux based systems
Knowledge of Bash, Shell Scripting and Informix
Experience with supporting applications
