A small team of 40+ people divided into cross-functional squads that make the Displate.com web app fly and look stunning as our customers deserve it (optimizing page performance and implementing SEO-driven solutions included)
We are always looking for improvements in our stack - not long ago we switched to react-query to manage our async data, introduced styled-components, and more (yup, there are no orders here, we all decide what’s best for us)
Software Craftsmanship and Clean Code are not just buzzwords here - we strive for top-notch quality in everything we do - as you’ll find out during our Code Reviews, we’re rather demanding ;
We aim to test as much as possible, in a variety of different ways - we started not long ago, so there’s a lot of catching up to do!

General expectations :
industry experience with applying principles of software architecture in large scale systems
experience in object-oriented programming, test-driven development, automation tests, monitoring and maintaining applications on production
ability to design, build and support distributed architecture
open-minded, mentor attitude, and agile mentality
robust code review skills
Tech knowledge needed :
5 years of overall experience delivering production-ready software designs
Senior-level PHP with Symfony developing skills
Best engineering practices and architectural styles, including
Object-Oriented Programming
Clean Architecture
Domain-Driven Design
Microservices
Stream processing
Concurrency
Event-driven architecture :
Experience in automated deployment process (CI / CD) of containerized (Kubernetes) applications
Experience in developing with any major RDBMS (PostgreSQL, MySQL)
Nice to have experience :
operating RabbitMQ or Apache Kafka on a big scale ( or other messaging systems)
experience with moving monolithic applications into microservices
maintaining the application on AWS ( or another cloud provider)
commercial use of Java we use Java and PHP both in our projects
