Role Purpose : The EMEA Product Manager, THV will support the market access, commercialization and marketing efforts of Balloon Expandable transcatheter therapies within Europe by developing and executing marketing initiatives to drive market share and by providing sales and marketing training to field staff.
This position will play a pivotal role in the ongoing marketing efforts on the existing SAPIEN 3 platform, as well as for the planning and execution of the SAPIEN 3 Ultra System launch.
This position is located in Prague or Munich Edwards offices. Job Functions :
Gain deep understanding of the European THV market and establish an understanding of customers’ needs based on competitive intelligence and customer feedback.
Develop and execute marketing activities and tactics that will effectively differentiate THV therapies and drive market leadership.
Support the Portfolio Marketing Launch leaders in implementing the SAPIEN 3 Ultra System launch ensuring fast uptake and strong market share position.
Partner with BUMs to effectively develop and implement marketing and sales programs that will drive THV therapies adoption and market share
Develop clear customer segmentation and account targeting strategies and tactics to ensure deeper THV penetration in Key accounts.
Create Proactive & Reactive competitive rebuttals, objection handlers to achieve or exceed the business goals. Includes but not limited to :
Developing competitive product positioning and messaging.
Developing comprehensive sales tools and training
Developing supporting marketing collateral such as digital, print
Establish strong relationships with key opinion leaders in the field
Provide sales and marketing training for internal stakeholders on product benefits, competitive products, objection handling and competitive selling.
Utilize an ethical, consultative approach to support physician and hospital usage of and commitment to Edwards THV products.
Possess and share superior clinical knowledge of THV’s products, clinical applications, instructions for use, and procedural techniques.
Monitor industry trends and keep a pulse on the competitive landscape
Partner with global marketing to create comprehensive launch & sales / training tools, including developing digital & print collaterals
Plan and execute market research and customer surveys to deeply understand behavioral changes and impact on therapy adoption
Partner with clinical marketing to establish strong podium strategy clearly defining product’s unique value proposition and competitive differentiation
Plan and collaborate in customer meetings, training meetings (internal and external) and / or other relevant meetings.
Analyze SFDC data and provide insightful dashboards to leadership team
Maintain / update the annual product marketing plan to provide direction for current and upcoming programs; lead market analysis with a goal to ensuring alignment with activities and market needs
Required Education / Skills / Experience :
Bachelor’s degree in Business or Healthcare related field (preferred).
2 years of experience in marketing within the health care industry (preferred)
Minimum 3 years of experience as a sales representative in the health care industry
Experienced in developing training programs preferred
Excellent facilitation and presentation skills
Ability to produce Economic Value collaterals to aid efforts in hyper price sensitive markets.
Proven successful project management skills
Experience with MS Office Suite and related systems
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills including consultative, influencing, and relationship management skills
Ability to work well in a multi-cultural environment and matrix organization.
Ability to relate to physicians, nurses, and senior-level healthcare managers
Demonstrated problem-solving and critical thinking skills
