LE Accounting Manager Co-sourcing HUB

Global Services EMEA is the Johnson & Johnson Shared Service Center in Europe, delivering compliant financial services to J&J affiliates across the EMEA region.
The Position of LE Accounting Manager Co sourcing hub is responsible for the creation of Statutory Accounts for companies under their responsibility.
This position is highly involved in all statutory and tax audits.
The responsibilities & the impact YOU will have :
Monitor and analyze department work to develop more efficient procedures and use of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy
Apply a thorough understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger structure
Full responsibility for the Statutory Reporting Requirements of Co-sourcing companies in-scope
Key point of contact within the group on all technical statutory accounting queries and be responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with external audit teams (PwC and tax authorities) in above mentioned countries
Ensure that all necessary closing requirements statutory and tax reporting are done
Thorough understanding of the audit process and ability to liaise closely with Auditors and Tax Advisors
Planning and coordination of external audits
Ensure that standardized processes with local tax advisors are in place
Tax Reporting to corporate (LR reporting) for Actual data
Reconcile tax data on financial statements.
Provide detailed specific guidance and support on complex business issues and financial system issues so that overall control is maintained
Close interaction with A2R Group (Tax related tasks and specific statutory requirements)
Projects (provide insights into specific local statutory and tax requirements)
People Management :
Recruit, lead, motivate and develop the Cluster Tax & Statutory team.
Clear communication of job expectations
Planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions
Coaching and mentoring of team members
Foster an environment of teamwork, innovation and sharing of ideas.
Compliance Statement :
Ensure strong internal controls are in place, in order to achieve adequate internal and external audit ratings.
Keeping businesses compliant with various local, state, and federal tax regulations
Meet all corporate and regional deadlines.
We’d love to hear from YOU, if you have :
Fully qualified accountant or an international qualified accountant equivalent, with 5-10 years post qualified financial experience
Advanced level of English
Previous job experience in one of the Big4 Audit companies
Extensive experience in Tax and Statutory accounting
US GAAP closing experience
Line Management experience preferred
Great analytical skills
Very good verbal and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal, supervisory and customer service skills required.
Proven business partnering skills (especially with external audit teams)
Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, meet deadlines and be able to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
Great US GAAP accounting knowledge
Great local GAAP knowledge
Willingness to travel (10%) to local markets
