Would you like to be a part of DHL IT Services? Our team is looking for an enthusiastic Software Engineer who is keen to design and implement cloud-native solutions for key systems across Deutsche Post DHL.
DHL eCommerce division is starting with a redesign and re-implementation of its x-border operational system. It's a backbone application used in eCommerce hubs and gateways worldwide, supporting the full cycle of shipment delivery - first mile, middle mile and last mile.
Shipment volumes going through the application are topping 3bn EUR annually. Don’t miss all the fun refactoring and extending Weblogic / Swing monolith into microservices, Kotlin, Kubernetes, service / event meshes and REACT.

What you will do :
Design and implement cloud-ready and cloud-native applications and services for DPDHL divisions
Own an end-to-end new and existing products delivery from technical leadership perspective
Be part of highly skilled DevOps team, striving to simplify and automate all aspects of SDLC : designing and building CI / CD pipelines, creating automated unit tests, implementing monitoring, log analytics and distributed transaction tracing solutions to meet always on non-functional requirements
Establish strong and lasting relationships with key stakeholders and decision makers in business partner organizations

You should have :
3+ years of Java and / or Kotlin hands on development experience
Solid knowledge of microservices technologies (Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Docker, Kubernetes)
Solid knowledge of SQL / noSQL databases (Oracle, MS SQL, Cassandra, MongoDB, Azure CosmosDB)
Experience with :
CICD (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Github Actions, UCD)
logging / monitoring / profiling tools (Prometheus, ELK, Splunk, Dynatrace)
Experience or willingness to learn :
API management, event mesh and service mesh technologies (Apigee, Envoy, Kuma, Istio)
cloud-native architecture and development (in Microsoft Azure and / or GCP)
Strong communication / presentation skills
