Bronto Software is a 400-person US based company that is starting a development office in Prague. We are owned by Oracle but run as a separate business unit - this allows us to move like a startup while having the stability of a large company. We create a product that helps our customers personalize their customer communications. We are looking for a Product Manager to help us define the future of our e-commerce marketing platform. When you join our Product Management team, you will play a vital role in solving problems for our customers to enable them to maximize the revenue they drive through their marketing efforts.

You will collaborate with other Product Managers, UI/UX designers, Technical Writers, Project Managers and Engineering to build the best product and user experience and drive these initiatives through to completion.


  • Translate the commerce-related needs of prospects and customers into product specifications

  • Communicate product strategy and functionality both internally and externally.

  • Work closely with UI/UX designers to create a design that accomplishes the business and customer goals and technical requirements.

  • Work with engineering and project management to manage project priorities and deliverables.

  • Initiate and foster relationships with other groups including sales, support and account management.

  • Requirements

  • Preferred bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or engineering

  • Attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects.

  • Excellent time management, multi-tasking and organizational skills

  • Demonstrated experience communicating and presenting complex technical ideas to a broad audience both internally and externally

  • Excellent problem solving skills – able to identify, analyze and propose solutions to various technical and business issues

  • Experience as a product manager at a SaaS business preferred

    Detailed Description and Job Requirements

    Work as part of a team that acts as the central resource and driving force for the design, process, manufacturing, test, quality and marketing of product(s) as they move from conception to distribution. Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget.

    As a member of the product development division, you will define product specifications and or strategy. Gather and analyze information to define product specifications and review design specifications. Communicate product strategy and functionality. Initiate and foster relationships with other groups. Review product documentation and collateral. Ensure successful product releases based on corporate priorities.

    Duties and tasks are varied and complex, needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.
