Role Summary
Production Service Engineer : Operates company's complex high traffic, business critical internet site communications and / or network-based (cloud) product systems.
Plans, designs and implements scalable local and wide-area network solutions between multiple platforms and protocols (including IP and VOIP).
Responsible for system performance; supports / troubleshoots network issues and coordinates installation of such items as routers and switches with appropriate vendors.
Develops tools to automate the deployment, administration and monitoring of a network system. Provides training and assists with proposal writing.
Conducts project planning, cost analysis and vendor comparisons and works on project implementation. Works with development teams to enhance and improve system operability.
Conducts tests of network redundancy, resilience and failover of network elements to ensure up-time standards are fully achieved.
May be required to provide on-call service coverage with other department employees. Also referred to as Site Reliability Engineer.

Works with 3rd party service suppliers to deliver IT / Security products / services in line with SLA’s
Job Requirements
At least 5 years of experience in System Administration role
Problem analysis and resolution skills
Server hardware experience (installations, connections, basic troubleshooting) 20% of work is on-site in the data centre
Linux / Unix administration experience (installs, administration - storage, user, networking, system services, web services, etc.)
Shell scripting
Other scripting experience an advantage (Perl, Python, other)
Multidiscipline IT knowledge (TCP / IP networking, server technologies, storage)
System administration experience in other areas an advantage VMware, KVM, Windows Server, O365, Integrations
Ability to learn new technologies and apply those effectively within a variety of business and technical contexts
Familiar with ITIL based operation
Team player, able to work with remote colleagues
Fluent Czech or Slovak, fluent English
Driving license B
