nscglobal is recruiting for a major service provider, serving over 81 million customers.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Linux / Unix Customer Support Agent who is looking to build a career within customer support and who can work variable shift patterns within our Global Network Operations Facility in Brno, Czech Republic.

Purpose of Role

  • To Provide Systems Support to client Customers
  • Extended Days ( 5 x 8hour shifts mon sun )
  • Responsibilities

  • Executing consistent tasks via workflow tooling to triage new issues
  • Communications via telephone calls to / from Customers plus interactive chat sessions
  • Engagement of Specialist teams as directed by workflow tooling / procedures
  • Basic Troubleshooting
  • Skills Profile

  • Helpdesk Experience
  • Excellent communication skills (Verbal, Written, Technical & Interpersonal)
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Good problem solving skills
  • Professionalism at all times
  • Assertiveness
  • Good timekeeping
  • Proficiency in the use of standard windows base applications
  • Ability to work well under pressure, set priorities and make well considered decisions
  • Drive enthusiasm, initiative, commitment and self-motivation
  • Resourcefulness and flexibility
  • A desire to learn new skills
  • Ability to work well in a team
  • Interface effectively with all levels of management both internally and externally
  • 1+ Years’ experience in a Customer facing role
  • Recent experience working in, or with IT
  • Linux / Unix experience is an advantage
