Role Overview

The Analyst BusinessFinance is responsible for providing financial support to the business area,ensuring compliance with deadlines and accounting standards whilst pro-

activelychallenging the business and its financial performance.

Key Scope

Provide financialsupport to the relevant business team by :

  • Producing andcontrolling the period (monthly, Quarterly & Yearly) End results
  • Performing necessaryanalysis of reporting closing results
  • Performing theFinancial controlling and support for small to medium projects
  • Preparing reports formonthly reviews with P&L / cost owners
  • Completing the monthlyforecast (at required detailed level)
  • Participating to thebudgeting process, preparing the settlement of interlock reviews with relevantparties
  • Confirm and validateintegrity of results recorded by :

  • Ensuring alignmentbetween Statutory reporting and Management reporting results
  • Confirming IFRS andaccounting policies compliance
  • Supporting the Auditactivity
  • Playing an active rolein the Balance Sheet control activity
  • Play an active role inCost Controlling :

  • Apply SITA standardmethods and guidelines of costs allocation rules (including draft ofproduct / GEO profitability / projects)
  • Providing financialsupport to evaluate and simulate financial scenarios
  • Verify the accuracy ofcosts allocation through monthly / quarterly / yearly reports
  • Provide consistent andstandard cost analysis across regions and business
  • Ensuring alignmentwith capitalization best practices
  • Ensuring alignmentwith tax compliance activities
  • Ensuring alignmentwith corporate practices and standards
  • EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 3 to 5 years related work experience preferably within a large international company
  • Experience in business partnering
  • Experience in Project Accounting desirable
  • Experience with Hyperion / modelling software essential
  • Skills

  • Excellent business facing communication skills
  • EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS

  • University degree in Finance or Accounting is imperative - Membership of a relevant
  • Finance / Accounting accreditation body - Good knowledge of International accounting standards
