11! The number of new products that Novartis is planning to launch in the next three years filling the uncover needs of medical experts and improving patient’s journey in several therapeutic areas.
Your responsibilities include, but not limited to :
Develops a Neuroscience Franchise strategy and portfolio development plan, aligned with the CPO priorities and Global and Regional requirements
Builds a strategic vision for Neuroscience Franchise
Defines Neuroscience product and brand launch strategies, including pipeline / portfolio optimization and external growth opportunities, at all times in line with Regional and Global functions.
Determines in conjunction with Neuroscience Marketing and Sales managers the appropriate portfolio mix / focus for the Neuroscience business based on optimal resource allocation, internal capability, market fit, competitive dynamics and corporate expectations.
Closely aligns Neuroscience sales and penetration targets through the marketing / product management team the annual operating planning process.
What you’ll bring to the role :
Leadership of the CPO sales and marketing activities for Neuroscience Franchise, including development and implementation of marketing strategies, goals and operational plans
Deep understanding of the customers / market, key dynamics and policies and current knowledge of key competitors and their likely strategies.
Achieves targets on sales, market share growth, profitability and launch of Neuroscience products
Ensures strong Quality and Compliance and fosters a speak up culture.

University degree in bioscience, medicine, business, and / or economics
10-12 years sales & marketing experience within pharmaceutical industry, incl 5 years in management position
Strong leadership skills to direct a team of marketing staff
Well-developed planning and resource allocation skills
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Sensitive to the pharmaceutical market and strong analytical skills
Fluency in English and Czech
