Job purpose :

Is in charge of the Non Cost Of Goods (NCOGs) procurement activities and team as well as corresponding spends. Works in close collaboration with other Procurement functions and key business partners

Is responsible for setting and implementing a collaborative approach with businesses and functions to leverage buy better standardization and demand management.

Is responsible for leading key Procurement topics. This mission is aligned with the values, the ethical charter and the code of conduct of Zentiva.

The Procurement manager NCOGs reports to the Head of Procurement Zentiva

Your responsibilities :

  • Category Strategy Deployment :
  • Set a yearly planning of key strategies to deploy or refresh (aligned on Long Range Plan & Budget)
  • Is accountable for the efficient purchasing spend management and for efficiency of the investments. This activity is performed in close collaboration with the category managers
  • Manages NCOGs procurement to achieve goals, namely but not limited to : search, selection and negotiation of purchase conditions with domestic / international suppliers with competitive costs, according to relevant regulations and internal regulations
  • Manages the process of sourcing - searching vendors their selection and evaluation of business and logistics conditions at corporate level (for all entities of Zentiva)
  • Acts in line with the Guidelines on Procurement and Sourcing as well as instructions of the supervisors : Head of Procurement Zentiva.
  • Create purchase strategy, directives, policy for sourcing of indirect materials and services.

  • Manages key customers committee at local base
  • Ensures availability of indirect materials, goods and services for Zentiva’s business units
  • Performs continuous market research, monitoring of market situation and trends and submits proposals to start the alternative vendor projects if necessary.
  • Carries out and coordinates all the studies necessary for the approval of alternative vendors for existing supplies, evaluation and preparations of Secrecy Agreements for signing by appropriate departments, obtaining all necessary documentation and User Requirement specifications

  • Management and Talent Development :
  • Manages and coaches subordinates
  • In very close collaboration with the Head of Procurement Drives Employee Evaluations and talent process for the NCOGs procurement team
  • Business Partnering :
  • Build & manage business connectivity with all relevant functions
  • Ensure Procurement involvement in key projects
  • Procurement Excellence, Public Relations & External affairs :
  • Monitor performance & efficiency in the country & lead opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Foster innovation
  • Bring external market intelligence to the Procurement community
  • Communication & Change Management :
  • Build & manage a communication plan in the country
  • Procurement Risk Management, Compliance, Ethics and CSR :
  • Is in charge of following processes within NCOGs Procurement
  • Performing regular trainings in order to comply with compliance and internal controls requirements
  • Performs Compliance sanity checks
  • Performs pre / post-audit management
  • Is responsible for crisis management
  • Communication Partners :
  • Internal : Production, R&D, SCM, Sales & Marketing, QA / QC, RA, DMF, IP, Portfolio, Support functions
  • External : Suppliers / producers of indirect materials, goods and services
  • We require :

  • At least 10 years’ experience in a Procurement, management or transversal role with proven record in term of change management in the international company
  • University education - Master degree in Engineering or Economy
  • Procurement or market intelligence experience
  • Business acumen
  • Knowledge of national and International business (Supply chain, Procurement, Pharma )
  • Knowledge of domestic and foreign market for indirect materials, goods and services
  • Ability and willingness to travel (to and also outside Europe)
  • Basic knowledge of regulatory affairs for registration I pharmaceutical production
  • Knowledge of production, technical development and registration tasks of company in pharmaceutical production
  • Capability to manage business at executive level : internal stakeholders and suppliers
  • Strong business acumen and ability to build sustainable business connectivity
  • Solid listening and communication skills
  • Strong Leadership and Influencing skills
  • Capability to work in a matrix and complex environment
  • English : Advanced level, Other languages are an advantage
