Through strong and professional thought leadership, provide strategic direction for talent and succession, learning, career, and leadership development in line with Avast’s global people strategy and business priorities.

Job Description :

  • Build and implement the global approach to talent management, succession, capability and learning across Avast to encourage a culture of continuous learning and to enable the people to plan a business strategy
  • Work with business leaders and HR colleagues to define what talent looks like in Avast, and what the business requirements are for talent, succession and capability / learning to support the business strategy
  • Design and implement a comprehensive learning offering, including but not limited to; talent development (inc HIPO / Apprentic / Graduates);
  • leadership and management development; functional, behavioral and technical development to build key organizational and individual capability

  • Enable and improve talent development and learning through the adoption of digital technologies and the application of behavioral psychology to improve the accessibility of learning and learner experience, transfer and retention
  • Establish and facilitate Avast’s learning needs analysis / planning, talent review methodology, and approach to succession planning, working with HR Colleagues and the Business
  • Design, implement and facilitate the approach to executive development
  • Evaluate the impact and cost-effectiveness of the learning portfolio and talent management and development approaches to advise future decision making
  • Lead all people development personnel and non-personnel budgets and external partners and services
  • Plan, prioritize and craft deliverables to drive commercial results and handle the cost
  • Make decisions by evaluating evidence and drawing on professional expertise
  • Enable organizational / business change to maximize benefits
  • Build the capability and capacity of individuals and teams (virtual and face-to-face) to drive performance and growth
  • Enable an innovative, ethical and broad culture
  • Role model Avast values
  • Identify and manage organizational / business risk
  • Deliver legal and regulatory responsibilities and uphold corporate policies
  • Requirements :

  • Certified coach, other professional certifications desirable
  • Experience in an L&D and Talent role, ideally, working across an international business
  • Evidence of defining talent and learning needs and developing and implementing solutions / programmes / approaches that have a significant impact
  • Expertise in the use and integration of digital technology and learning platforms to enhance learning and talent development
  • Knowledge of behavioral psychology in a learning context and how to improve learner experience, transfer, and retention
  • Experience of developing and implementing talent management approaches and succession planning
  • Coaching and facilitation skills
  • Strong commitment to own professional development to keep up to date with new trends and developments in Talent and L&D and the world of work
  • This could be an interim or a full-time role
