Would you like to be part of DHL IT Services? Application support team is looking for an enthusiastic person who is keen to learn how to support key application ZORA to DHL P&P business unit in order to ensure the maximum availability and minimal disruption to business continuity.
ZORA is the IT backend for retail systems in Germany.
What you will do :
Deliver application operation support (70 %) and Database administration (30 %) within Service Level Agreements to Retail business according to DHL IT Services processes with the main focus on Incident and Problem Management
Demonstrate ownership of assigned events and incidents through to restoration and collaborate with other support teams within the organization and external suppliers
Coordinate activities and communicate with impacted stakeholders as per incident management process
Monitor supported services and systems
ORACLE DBA tasks backups / restores etc.
Continuous improvement of the automated monitoring of the application
Execution of operational acceptance test according to the release to production process
Maintain technical documentation and the knowledge of supported applications
Participate in on-call support (rotation within the team)
Applications you will use :
Windows Server 2012R2
Oracle Enterprise Server 2016
Microsoft SQL Server 2016
Microsoft Internet Information Services / Microsoft Biztalk Server 2016
You should have :
Technical knowledge of Windows server operating system (2012R2)
Knowledge of Oracle backups / restores OR Microsoft SQL Server
Ability to use English in daily communication
Good time-management, organizational, multi-task and prioritization skills
We welcome previous exposure to Microsoft Biztalk Server 2016, Microsoft Internet Information Services and practical experience in Application Monitoring with e.
g. HP OpenView, Splunk or similar tool
