The CERC Materials management specialist
The overall objective is to manage the hard goods availability. Optimising a balance between the cost of capital tied up in spare parts inventory and minimising downtime and mean time to repair
Contributing to the development and application of the sparing strategy.
Building and maintain Equipment Bills of Materials (BoM) in SAP for gas plants and production installations.
Determin the correct level of spare parts holding for each plant and the location in which they should be held.
Purchase (or repair) and arrange storage of nessessary spare parts.
Manage the spare parts inventory levels, through Material Resource Planning (MRP), to ensure that the required spare parts are available for use in a time frame that meets the business need
Record and assess all materials quality, movement, and expenditure
Develop new plants and territories following business growth
This position is accountable for the following end results :
Optimise spares inventory levels
Maintaining accurate Bills Of Materiasl (BoM’s) in part through locally initiated eMOC’s (Electronic Management Of Change).
Including the following : Data cleaning and updateData quality continius improvement
Execute timely stock replenishment when spares are used through the timely refurbishment of failed equipment and new buy of spares
Provide training and support in hard goods inventory management methods and SAP transactions
Manage key supplier and procurement relations to ensure call off contracts are valid and current
Manage stock inventory checks via Cycle and Sample counting.
Support eMOC close out for projects where materials management support required
Upload Materials Masters, Bills of Materials and Ancillary equipment into SAP
Plan and execute Stores / Warehouse Set Ups for New Plants / Equipment
Active cooperation with Plant, Maintenance and Project teams
Follow high level strategy provided by central team, exchange experience with other subrigions and implementation of best practices
EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Education :
Educated to diploma / degree level or above, preferably in a technical or engineering subject
Fluent in English
Native in Czech or Polish, Russian language would be advantageous
Skills and Experience :
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role or A purchasing or supply chain background
Strong commercial acumen
Terminology and technical appreciation of operating plant and equipment.
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and specification of equipment
Excellent use of analytical tools plus good IT skills, specifically : Micorsoft Office, especially advanced MS Excel (Pivot tables, Macros etc)SAP (Materials and Warehousing Module)Access Databases utilising
Solid understanding of supply chain and inventory management systems.
Advanced knowledge of forecasting and budgeting processes.
Outstanding communication and leadership skills.
Analytical mind with excellent problem-solving abilities.
Good organisational, communication and supervisory skills.
