About your role : Our team is providing 2nd level support for a Business Critical Applications for the DHL Express division.
We are looking for a new colleague with technical and interpersonal skills to ensure that customer inquiries and issues are resolved within our SLAs and communicated properly to all stakeholders.
You will lead the virtual Service Reliability Team for Express Containerization, drive the recovery management process during crisis situations which impacts the availability of the service.
Your daily work :
Lead the virtual Sort & Containerization team
Act as Global Service Owner
Deploy, maintain, enhance and support assigned services
Provide technical expertise and consultations to users and projects
Identify gaps between service design and business procedures
Review and approve release to production plans
Ensure that requests for support are properly logged, assigned and responded, ensure all parties are kept informed of progress and that corrective action is taken to avoid delays
Finding new ways to get best use out of existing technologies so that products are easier and less costly to support and deploy
Spot potential problems and take proactive actions to prevent them
Follow our incident and problem management process during recovery management of major incidents
Responsible for resolution of assigned tickets, finding workarounds and following root causes to resolve issues permanently
Knowledge transfer of acquired knowledge to your colleagues Your skills :
At least 5 years’ experience in application support role
Solid knowledge of Linux with scripting background
Experience with Weblogic, Middleware and integration technologies
Hands-on Oracle and SQL knowledge
Willing to learn new technologies and interact with colleagues and customersWe welcome ITIL Certification.We offer :
