The Mission
The position reports to Manager PPi Business System. Continuous Improvement and Process Engineer is responsible for the sustaining and continuous improvement of operation processes, active deployment and reinforcement of PPi business system across operation departments, managing projects to improve process flexibility and efficiency, support transfers of specific production lines.
Improves and sustains Operation process by definition, execution, management of PPI (Practical Process Improvement) projects.
Finding, developing and implementing new opportunities in order to drive continuous improvement.
Use lean tools and principles to advance our operation and manufacturing processes.
Support creation of the PPI process improvement project funnel, aid in project prioritization, update status of existing projects and manage PPI pipeline for a responsible work stream.
Design and maintain operation and manufacturing processes in line with technology needs and newest industry standards
Continuous cost reduction in the complete manufacturing and supply chain flow
Drive Kaizen 8-step projects and manage VSM projects to identify and eliminate non-value added activities
Support continues improvement projects including projects of transfer / resourcing / outsourcing of manufacturing process
Provide training and coaching to impart knowledge on new PPI knowledge to the team
Work closely with site PPI steering committee to identify ways to accelerate the culture change necessary to support the PPI Business System.
Support and work with the PPI team to develop / promote / standardize the PPI Business System further and share best practices.
Manages and executes other complex cross functional, cross site projects addressing operations issues from inception to completion
Communicates effectively to cross-functional teams in Product Development, Service, Manufacturing, Sourcing, Logistics and other TFS departments WW
Support implementation of Supply chain Industry best practices in automation, industry 4.0, and digitalization
Requirements :
University degree in technical discipline (Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or other relevant degree)
At least 3 years’ experience with project or process management, Lean and CI culture deployment in high tech manufacturing or Research and Development environment
Experience with supply chain industry automation, industry 4.0, and digitalization is an advantage
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities :
Strong leadership and ability to manage complex projects from inception to completion
Excellent presentation skills to various levels of auditorium
Strong communications skills and ability to lead effectively cross functional project teams
Good knowledge of lean methodologies and continues improvement practices
Knowledge / certificate of Six sigma is an advantage
Good knowledge of process and product design principles, new product development processes and change management processes
Proactive and overall positivistic personality and creativity
Must be able to travel as needed up to 10%
