For our Product Organization "M7 Trading Solutions" we are looking for a dedicated IT Business Operations Team Leader to join our Business Operations unit, an integral part of our drive to continuously improve the quality and reliability of our products and services.

We design, build and operate solutions for electronic marketplaces around the world. The tradable instruments made available through our platforms range from Power Spot instruments (tradable 24 / 7) to commodity futures and OTC cleared derivatives.

The Business Operations team is responsible for managing and coordinating all operational aspects of our productive systems and services.

This includes change and release management; monitoring and market administration; KPI and SLA reporting; and incident and problem management.

Our Business Operations team is a core aspect of our unique devops topology, and works very closely with our technical operations and product development teams.

As Team Leader, your primary objective is to facilitate the team achievement by means of capacity planning, managing and tracking utilization, ensuring process governance and improvement, and protecting the team from administrative and organizational distraction.

Tasks / responsibilities

  • Ensure team’s fulfillment of service offering in accordance to agreed SLA’s and KPI’s.
  • Team’ s daily coordination Maintaining and tracking team calendar of operational and project related requirements and deadlines
  • Customer SLA / KPI tracking, evaluation and reporting
  • Regular reporting to management
  • Close alignment with product owners and application development teams to ensure feedback from operations is addressed in on-going development
  • Engagement in development projects to ensure operational requirements are met
  • Qualifications / required skills

  • Relevant experience in Operations, IT Service Management, Business Administration (3 years+)
  • Experience in people management / leadership
  • High proficiency in written and spoken English
  • Understanding of Agile software development and Scrum methodologies
  • Experience as or close understanding of the role of a scrum master
  • Self-organized individual with a structured working method
  • Knowledge of trading systems or financial markets
  • German / French language skills
  • Dedication, team and communication skills, flexibility as well as competent handling of MS Office applications round out your profile.
