What is Electronic Data Interchange (EDI)? EDI system-to-system exchange of documents in a standard electronic format between the business partners.

Why it is good to know EDI? EDI replaces postal mail, fax and email. While email is also an electronic approach, the documents exchanged via email must still be handled by people rather than computers.

Having people involved slows down the processing of the documents and also introduces errors. Instead, EDI documents can flow straight through to the appropriate application on the receiver’s computer (e.

g., the Order Management System) and processing can begin immediately. With the electronic system approach we increase the speed and efficiency in the process that the beer is as fast as possible at the customer. What will you be doing :

You will lead the implementations & initiatives of Electronic data interchange (EDI) with new customers and guiding other teams

You will analyze and provide specifications used for enhancements and extensions in EDI applications, interfaces, and mappings

You will be primarily responsible for all the Electronic data interchange (EDI) initiatives with existing business partners across Europe

You will maintain and support all onboarded customers on daily basis

What you'll bring :

A degree in business / information technology / computer information systems / system engineer or related disciplines

Proficient written and spoken knowledge of English

Sophisticated experience with ERP / ERO / ERA / SAP environment, EDI is a plus

MS Office Specialist user (VBA is an advantage)

Able to work on own initiative and prioritize technology efficient

Able to coordinate many different tasks / projects at the same time

Problem-solving skills
