Solaris Specialist
Accenture Infrastructure Outsourcing work to support the most complex environments, develop and maintain on-prem and cloud-based systems and services.
It also works on high impact problems, deliver new features and functionality.
What will you do :
You will provide system administration for Solaris system environments. You will analyze systems to find areas of improvement and optimization.
Mostly you will :
Brainstorm for new ideas and ways to improve development deliveries, architecture improvement and process improvement recommendations
Maintain business critical Solaris systems with high availability clusters
Automate using Ansible and shell scripts
Evaluate new technology options and vendor products
Implement, analyze and assess the impact of changes on client environment.
Ensure critical system security, best practices and procedures are followed
What do we expect from you :
Very good English (written and spoken)
More than five years of hands-on experience in Solaris administration.
Experience with high availability solutions like Veritas Cluster Server (Veritas Infoscale) and Oracle Solaris Cluster (Sun Cluster).
Experience with Linux or AIX would be a strong advantage.
Scripting skills in common Unix shells and tools.
A holistic understanding of both the operational and scope aspect of projects.
German would be a strong advantage
