Reporting to the Global Programme Manager for Agile Solutions, this role is responsible for developing RPA bots within the Quadient Global organisation.
The purpose is to design, build and release RPA automations, allowing the RPA programme to deliver efficiency savings to the business to support the return to growth strategy.
Technical process assessment
Review business requests before development starts
Define a high level technical solution for the business requirements
Capture and document the technical process for approval
Level of Effort estimation
Provide an estimate of time required to deliver RPA bot
Bot creation / build
Writing of bot commands and tasks to deliver business efficiencies
Definition of the task / sub tasks needed for automation
Utilising automation technologies available within the digital organisation
Documentation of build for future reference
UAT facilitation
Conduction promotion of bots from Development Environment to UAT
Coordination of testing with Business Process Owners
Gain business sign off and approval to release to production environment
Technical Escalation
Investigation of build issues and incidents
First level fault fixing
Raising of support requests to RPA Technical Support
Release & Hypercare
Gather production run / schedule requirements
Requesting of promotion to Production Environment with Admin team
Provide initial period of close support to business following launch
Business handover / ownership
Ensure business owner of bot / automation is identified
Transfer knowledge of ongoing actions / monitoring to business
Obtain handover acceptance from Business Owner
Production Support
Act as first point of contact for any production issues
Coordinate / escalate major production issues to RPA programme manager
About you
Experience with Robotic Process Automation technology
Proficiency in programming languages, including review and testing of existing code
Process modelling and development experience
Ability to multitask on different projects and programmes
Understanding of Practical development lifecycle
Confidence to liaise with Business Process Owners
Fluent English
Customer oriented attitude with excellent customer facing skills
Communication of technical concepts to nontechnical colleagues to help understanding and allow positive decisions.
