NetSuite provides a suite of cloud-based financials / Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and commerce software that runs the business of more than 40,000 companies, organizations, and subsidiaries in more than 100 countries.

NetSuite has been a part of Oracle since 2017 when a big acquisition happed. Within the Oracle product portfolio, NetSuite's sales and product development has been accelerated and we are hiring skilled developers for our office in Prague .

Technologies :

The NetSuite solution is written in Java 11 (back-end) , we expect you to be a skilled programmer in any objective languages and you are willing to switch into or continue in Java.

We use Oracle database and expect you have solid knowledge of SQL as well.

The team :

Our ERP team in Prague looks after ERP Foundations in NetSuite. We are developing a new Document Numbering for all transactions and entities in the system.

We look after core parts of ERP e. g. Bulk Processing Framework, Rules Framework, and Approval Routing. The NetSuite is based on Oracle DB, the business logic is written in Java, it runs within the Jetty application server, and the UI is written using HTML and JavaScript.

The NetSuite culture has a big team focus. You will work closely with your fellow Developer, Software Test Engineer and Product Manager team mates, supporting each other in achieving the team goals.

Minimum Qualification :

  • Knowledge of any objective language - We work on the whole application stack, from DB to front end. Our main language is Java with elements of SQL and JavaScript .
  • Knowledge of these languages is of course beneficial, but not essential as long as you have strong object orientation, analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • English - With our focus on team work, good communication skills are essential. You should be able to express yourself well in English.
  • NetSuite also provides English classes during work hours to improve communication.

    Detailed Description and Job Requirements

    Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.

    As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems.

    Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.

    Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel.

    BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.
