Aug 1, 2018, 11 : 13 : 09 AM SUMMARY OF ROLE Lead and manage the agreed sales activities in Central Europe (AT, CZ, HU, SK, CH) Installed Base segment, contributing substantially to the planned growth of both the total business and the individual (PWS CE) divisional targets.
Insure that booking and margin objectives are met and contribute substantially to the planned growth of PWS lifecycle services business in CE as well as overall Emerson PWS business.
Appropriately support sales and project meetings with customers as necessary.
REPORTS TO : Sales Director PSG Central Europe SPECIFIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop sales activities for Installed Base segment on assigned market in accordance with PWS European organizational goals, targets and objectives.
Negotiate with Installed Base customers business contracts within the agreed Delegation of Authority including discounts, price and volume levels.
Interface with customers, as needed, to clarify customers’ requirements.
Identify market / customers needs for Emerson applications. Plan, request and review preparation of customer technical proposals and take responsibility for preparation of commercial proposals.
Participate in customers technical and commercial presentations.
Participate in customer development activities as trade shows, fairs, social functions etc.
Continuously increase own knowledge. Keep up to date on latest Ovation features, software and hardware developments
Become as knowledgeable as possible on Emerson Automation Solutions Power & Water Solutions products, participating in training programs, and through individual efforts and initiative.
Observes the Business Ethics stipulated by Emerson.
Needs to ensure that all transactions are properly screened and recorded in accordance with the company’s Trade Compliance procedures and to escalate any concerns or questions to the local Gatekeeper.
Have good knowledge about overall Emerson Automation Solutions products and services portfolio to represent company in front of customers
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
University Technical Degree (electrical / electronic, power)
Minimum 5 years experience in the process control system industry in sales and / or marketing
Working knowledge of power plant operations, processes is desirable
Experience of the DCS application and power technology
Travelling to customer site within country and as well abroad travelling (50% of time)
Fluent in Czech (Slovak) and German, English Language written, spoken,
Mature personality which is very much self-driven and self-motivated
Very good interpersonal skills and proven capability of deep understanding of sales process
Good computer skills
Willing to work in a team
On the technical side a strong background in power generation market welcomed
Experience in work in multinational teams / environment welcomed
