Principal Consultant Business & Operational Consulting Novartis, Prague, Czech Republic
A brand new global role that is part of a new internal consulting practice with responsibility for leading internal consulting specialists to deliver strategic consulting programs, driving operational efficiencies and implementing business change.
You will work with a diverse internal customer base and PLS (Product Lifecycle Services) leadership team to identify, pursue and execute business development opportunities that will ensure an expansion to the consulting services.
Your Responsibilities :
Your responsibilities include, but not limited to :
Support the Head of Business & Operational Consulting to drive the strategic plan for PLS Operational Consulting
Work with Account Managers, BSE leads and internal customers (Global functions, regional management and country management) and PLS practices to understand the consulting opportunity pipeline and work to convert this into customer projects
Build and manage key stakeholder relationships, initiating sales processes with internal customers o Identify opportunities to expand Business & Operational Consulting offerings and develop service offerings to customers
Develop consulting tools and methodologies for delivering consulting project opportunities
Line manage local consulting resources, as the team develops, including :
Lead consultants, Senior consultants, Consultants
Will involve regular travel throughout the year to Novartis locations to meet internal customers and provide project oversight where required

What you’ll bring to the role :
Postgraduate degree in technical or business discipline, further education in Change management, Project management, Facilitation / Coaching.
Preferred : Management consulting, Outsourcing or Pharma
A proven change agent with significant project and program management experience from a Top 5 consulting firm at Director level or equivalent, having successfully led complex, multi-
functional projects in a large corporate environment
A proven ability to manage multi-functional business change and to get straight to the heart of issues and provide insights
Significant experience, and proven ability to lead, manage, team with, and motivate stakeholders of widely varying backgrounds across a dispersed and matrix organization
Successful track record in application of consulting tools and solutions in solving complex business problems, including Lean Six Sigma (LSS)
