About the role :

We are currently looking for an experience Technical Consultant who will be focused on business critical DHL Supply Chain IT solution design and delivery.

You will be providing technological consultancy to our business. You will also be exploring new technologies, assessing the applicability to DHL Supply Chain business.

Your work :

Gathering and managing business requirements, as well as user, functional, technical and process requirements for products, services and / or software applications

Analyzing business processes; identifies alternative solutions, assesses feasibility, and recommends new approaches, typically seeking to exploit technology components

Identifying and resolving design conflicts across dependent projects

Providing Technical and / or process expertise and inputs to design, planning, and issue management

Defining technological architecture Web, Application, Database, Integration a Reporting tiers

Translating business requirements into user stories and product backlog

Coordinating and interacting with resources outside the team as necessary in order to deliver critical customer projects / assignments on time

Significantly contributing to projects delivery meetings regarding business requirements

Interacting with project teams, and other functional areas within IT Services to promote and assess opportunities for generating sustainable business and new products

Documenting work using the required standards, methods and tools e.g. producing program, project and system documentation

Analyzing functional, none functional, technical and business requirements which may contribute to the successful design and build and implementation of solutions, supporting business cases and other related documentation such as business or system requirements document

Ensuring that solutions are delivered in line with business requirements of external / internal customers and aligned with architecture recommendations (as well as budgets, timescale and quality)

You should have :

Versatile character with good technical and analytical thinking

Customer and end-user focus

Strong understanding in IT fundamentals servers, virtualization, containerization, network, web, application and database technologies

Strong in business process modeling and data analysis

Experience with business case preparation

Project Management basics awareness

Experience with Software Development lifecycle

Familiar with SQL, Linux, Bash and / or Python, and Java

Experience in coding will be an advantage
