The job : *As our new *EMEA Regional Market Development Manager (RMD)* within our Laboratory Chemicals business, you will be responsible for driving the transformation of global business go-to-market strategy into regionally relevant, inspiring marketing that builds customer value, revenue and growth.

You will develop regional marketing strategy for the business by taking into account business goals, customer segments, channels, and competitor plays.

You will also work closely with our commercial and channel partners to achieve financial goals, and negotiate and influence on critical decisions that will engage and excite customers.

We are offering this role as *fully remote* (working from home), based anywhere in Europe. Some international travel may be required (up to 25% per annum), including overnight stays.

Use voice of customer (VOC) to help develop all marketing activities for the EMEA region. Understand customer segments, their drivers and understand the different customer operating procedures across the regional geographies.

Proactively build and deploy cross divisional marketing campaigns, projects and tactical content that meets commercial objectives and that resonates with customers across different vertical markets* Deliver marketing activities to achieve marketing revenues goals.

Hold responsibility for Marketing OPEX and ensure the investment return of marketing activities is in line with the regional budgets / targets* Define and review appropriate metrics to drive success and course correct when needed* Deliver market insights and intelligence, and work with product management to understand implications for new product introductions (NPIs)* Lead the regional NPI launch process, ensuring value proposition, positioning and segmentation are appropriate to achieve revenue targets* Contribute to the annual marketing planning process and develop both direct and channel plans for your territory* Work with outside design agencies and marcom partners to define and deploy campaigns, programs and projects* Work with CRM team to define segmentation.

Understand macro and micro market influences in EMEA and define specific country solutions* Work with Marketing Analytics to understand return on investment and revenue generation for specific marketing activities* Ensure all sales channels have appropriate tools to achieve their goals and are fully trained (portfolio, workflows and positioning)*Who we are looking for : A strong marketing background, with proven experience in both strategic and tactical marketing, combined with extensive experience building marketing programmes and executing multi-channel marketing campaigns* Alternatively, we would consider someone from a relevant commercial background with extensive knowledge of the laboratory chemicals market within the EMEA region, who is looking to transition into a marketing role* A degree in a life science is preferred* Ability to prioritize and manage a demanding workload* Experienced working within a large matrix organization* Fluent in English, with strong written & verbal skills;
