Our client an international company with SSC based in Prague is searching for experienced General Ledger Accountant with different language combinations :
Your new role
The successful candidate will be responsible for applying accepted accounting principles and procedures to analyse financial information, prepare accurate and timely financial reports and statements and ensure appropriate accounting control procedures.
The candidate will be responsible for collecting information preparing balance sheet, profit and loss, analytical review and other statements, preparing financial statements, supporting schedules and disclosers for quarterly corporate reporting under IFRS, completing month, quarter and year closings and other daily routine related to GL activities.
Also, part of the agenda will be supervision and guidance of more junior colleagues.
What you'll need to succeed
The right candidate should have relevant education and 5 years of experience in accounting field, willingness to learn new things and ability to work under pressure.
IT proficiency (Excel, SAP) is required as well as fluent English plus the required language (French OR Italian OR Spanish).
The right candidate should have experience with VAT returns and being a 1st point of contact with auditors.
Important is also ability to meet deadlines, excellent communication and interpersonal skills with customer service focus and ability to act and operate independently.
Travelling availability is also required (due to transitions).
