Experience required for Professional Level :
Typically two to five years experience in automation projects.
Conversant with MS Office software products Excel, Access, Word,
Ideally Rockwell Automation Hardware and Software.

Required education :
Bachelors degree or higher in an Electrical Engineering discipline or equivalent knowledge, with industry application knowledge.
Local language skills, plus excellent English language (verbal and written)
Principal duties and responsibilities :
Experience in undertaking system field engineering and start-up activities.
Typically possesses broad application / technical knowledge relevant to assigned business team.
Must be able to work in a stressful environment where constructive feedback from others is encouraged.
Must have excellent conflict resolution skills.
Must be available and willing to work overtime, weekends and holidays to meet customer project commitments.
Must perform duties in the office or outside the office as part of a project team.
Must be able and willing to travel and work at both Rockwell Automation and customer sites.
Provides updates to project manager / project leader pertaining to status of activities, performance to schedule and performance to budget for self and other less-experienced engineers.
May participate in proposal development activities.
Performs detailed system design, both Hardware , Software and Start-up.
May serve as the primary interface with the customer for assigned projects.
Supports an environment conducive to successful team interaction.
Interacts with Sales, Project Management, Purchasing, and Manufacturing personnel in support of project execution.
Obtains product technical information from other business units of RA as required
May lead contractors on project assignments.
Responsible for meeting project schedule, engineering hours budgets, and customer satisfaction targets.
Builds partnerships at a technical level of key customers .
Must be commercially aware of the impact to the business of selecting and developing the project design and implementation
May present and develop technical aspects of sales proposals to customers.
Responsible for following all applicable corporate, company, governmental and regulatory policies and procedures as appropriate for this position.
