Yourresponsibilities as Problem Manager

As our new Problem Managerin Global Operations you will be responsible for facilitation and co-ordinating of problems through eachphase of the Problem Management process.

It will be your responsibility tomanage the full life cycle of the probleminvestigations within your scope.

  • Review and approve problems for further investigation
  • Facilitate and coordinate between various support teams to identify the root cause and suggest preventive actions
  • Seek approval to investigate problems that require significant resources, customer approval, funding etc.
  • Manage the progress of problems and escalations
  • Manage stakeholder updates and communication
  • Prepare process and management reporting
  • Review solution database entries
  • Perform proactive problem management based on trend analyses
  • Yourqualifications and experience

    Having worked for a service provider orlarger organization, you have experience with :

  • Problem Management
  • Incident Management
  • Project Management
  • You have workedaccording to ITIL processes in general. Besides this you have an analyticalmindset and enjoy organizational and inter-personal communication.

    Other preferredskills :

  • Broad knowledge of operational technologies such as Windows and servers, Active Directory, database technologies, virtualization, network, SAN, storage
  • Experienced Microsoft Excel user
  • On a personal level you thrive in a busy,highly professional environment and have a systematic / structured and focusedapproach to your tasks.

    You make things happen through other people and do notmind taking the initiative and getting your hands dirty . Problem Manager is akey role in Global Operations and you need to be robust and good atindependently prioritizing your work.

    Good communication skills in English arerequired since you work with both internal IT specialists as well as customers,both located in different part of the world.

    You must be able to communicatecomplex technical issues to management and other stakeholders.

    You will join our Operations Center & OCProcess Management team
