Supply Chain Finance Manager Location : Prague Process responsibilities :

  • Direction of GS EMEA Supply chain finance team (3 leads, 18 + professionals)
  • Overseeing GS SCF operations from a strategic perspective
  • Face to GMED and Medical device sourcing leads
  • Foster an environment of teamwork, innovation, process improvement across end to end flows
  • Liaising with key Business partners (GMED Senior manager, sourcing leads, GS EMEA A2R management, IT leads, CLS leads, Cignon lead)
  • Driving continuous improvement through enhanced cost effectiveness & pursuit of service excellence
  • Ensuring adherence to SOP’s and compliance regulations
  • Ensuring standardization of accounting processes
  • Ensuring effective communication with all GS stakeholders, including Corporate, the wider finance community and GS customers
  • Supporting career development programs
  • Ensuring compliance with policy & procedural directives within the A2R
  • Primary contact for escalation
  • Ensures all financial reporting deadlines are met
  • Ensures that all policies, activities & the deployment of resources within the GS are consistent with its mission
  • Co-ordination & monitoring of the completion of the closing calendar
  • People Management :

  • Management and Leadership of A2R Supply chain IC & ICP Team in Prague (+ / - 20 professionals)
  • Travel :
  • Circa 10%
  • Qualifications

  • Fully qualified accountant or an international qualified accountant equivalent, with 5-7 years post qualified financial experience
  • Proficient in English (written & oral), confidence in presenting to Senior Management in English
  • Other languages of EMEA countries preferred but not required
  • Experience Required :

  • Local market experience with European J&J companies
  • 5-7 Years job experience in different Finance functions
  • US GAAP reporting experience
  • Skills & Competencies :

  • Experienced professional with international exposure in Finance / Shared Services environment in a leadership position
  • Proven leadership ability of broad functional teams in a corporate environment
  • Strong business acumen
  • Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, meet deadlines and be able to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills required
  • Solid US GAAP accounting knowledge
