As General medicines commercial leader, you will be responsible for managing a broad general medicines portfolio alongside tendering, local contracting and initiatives aligned to our commercial policy.
Tendering itself is forming an increasing part of the business
You will partner strategically with the General Manager and finance head, leading the overall commercial trading strategy implementation to secure tenders across hospital and primary care pharmacy.
In this role, you will be accountable for driving the business performance and sales of general medicines, established portfolio through unlocking business potential and opportunities in the market.
You will also be responsible for a general medicines team

Uses critical judgement and analysis to anticipate, identify and quantify major marketplace trends and changes in the Hospital / primary Care pharmacy Channels
Direct management of general medicines business
Lead negotiator for national pharmacy chains.
Develops national commercial trading strategies across the GSK portfolio (including various channels and Private organisations) which reflect marketplace changes, to maximise profit and manage the product lifecycle.
Determines GSK’s response to pharmaceutical tenders to maximise profit and achieve national targets
Leads on Trading Strategy to deliver general medicine brand sales targets
Leads the general medicines team
Conducts robust data analysis and forecasting and lead regular internal and external stakeholder engagements to inform decisions and provide insights on sales ambition, current performance, risks and opportunities, and resourcing.
Why you? Basic Qualifications :
We are looking for individuals with these required skills to achieve our goals :
Bachelor's Degree in business or related discipline
Commercial, operational experience in the pharmaceutical industry at a Local Operating Country (LOC), regional, or global level, whether within a pharmaceutical company or a pharmaceutical consulting firm.
5+ years in a sales / marketing role in the pharmaceutical industry.
Strong account management and communication skills with demonstrated ability to work effectively in complex environments and the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders.
Customer-driven, solution and result-oriented working style with excellent prioritization skills.
Experience with multi-channel marketing & code of promotion
