Industry Experience :
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering (Computer / Telecommunications) or any related course
Minimum 3 years' experience in a Linux System Administrator role
Minimum 3 years’ experience as a System Administrator
Technical Skills :
Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining computer hardware in a networked environment.
Linux Operating Systems support experience.
Linux Workstation and Server management experience.
Understanding of remediating security vulnerabilities; experience hardening Red Hat, Oracle Linux, or other Opensource Systems
Knowledgeable in Scripting
Understanding on network concept and protocols
Knowledge of environmental monitoring tools (Nagios, Splunk, Zabbix, Solar Winds), or similar monitoring tools
Knowledgeable in cloud environment AWS and Azure
Knowledgeable VMware and ESXi (6.x or higher) configuration and management experience.
As part of our growth, your tasks will be to :
Responsible for effective provisioning, OS Patches / updates, installation / configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure.
Administers and maintains a Unix / Linux-based server network, with a combination of physical and virtual servers.
Participates in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the infrastructure.
Installs, configures, troubleshoots, and maintains server-based applications running on the network including Unix / Linux Services AD LDAP.
Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems, and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups.
Assist to create, configure, and deploy all virtual machines and install and provide backup to all configuration procedures.
Perform tests on all new software and maintain patches for management services.
Develops various scripts and utilities (mainly for user access management and for customization of the remote peripherals).
Serve as 1st and 2nd level escalation support for operational systems.
Maintain system efficiency, data center environmental and monitoring equipment.
Provide Tier I / other support with IT groups as per request from various constituencies and provide them with the necessary assistance.
Investigate and troubleshoot issues.
