Job Summary :

Novartis is currently searching for a Lead Consultant to join our Consultancy team.

Job Purpose :

A global role that is part of a new internal consulting practice with responsibility for delivering strategic consulting programs, driving operational efficiencies and implementing business change.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Support Business & Operational Consulting leadership to drive the strategic delivery plan
  • Work with Account Managers, leads and internal customers to understand the consulting opportunity pipeline and work to convert this into customer projects
  • Build and manage key stakeholder relationships, initiating sales processes with internal customers
  • Identify opportunities to expand Business & Operational Consulting offerings and develop service offerings to customers
  • Develop consulting tools and methodologies for delivering consulting project opportunities
  • Build, organize and sustain multi-disciplinary program and project teams
  • Facilitate and drive change in a heavily networked environment through senior stakeholder engagement and management
  • Lead and drive major internal customer transformation programs and projects, including solution development and implementation
  • Ensure the solution is properly designed and implemented according to the relevant project methodology and approach agreed with customer
  • Ensure deliverables are prepared within the relevant project delivery methodology, managing project risks, where required
  • Support management of the project portfolio through regular status reporting and stakeholder management updates
  • Will involve regular travel to Novartis locations where full-time or part-time on-site project delivery is required for internal customers
  • Line manage local consulting resources, as the team develops, including : Senior consultants and Consultants

    Minimum requirements

    The ideal candidate will have :

  • Graduate Degree in business, finance, or economics
  • Fluent in English
  • 6-10 years of experience in leading significant operating model, business process and organizational change and / or process improvement consulting projects.
  • Project and program management experience
  • Experience on working on complex, multi-functional projects in a large corporate environment
  • Demonstrated analytical, process-oriented and data driven mindset
  • Experience, and proven ability to manage stakeholders across a dispersed and matrix organization
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills as well as solid presentation skills
