    Job summary

    The Red Hat Customer Experience and Engagement (CEE) team is looking for a Technical Support Product Manager to join us in Brno, Czech Republic.

    In this role, you will focus on storage-defined storage products including Red Hat Ceph Storage, Red Hat Gluster Storage and Red Hat OpenShift Container Storage.

    You will represent the technical support team and interact regularly with leaders and senior members of the product, engineering, and CEE teams.

    You will guide the strategy for the support of new offerings and concepts and promote new ways of implementing support for existing offerings.

    As a Technical Support Product Manager, you'll need to use your professional experience and deep technical expertise to understand product issues and make recommendations on behalf of the customers to enhance their experience.

    Primary job responsibilities

  • Analyze and create business cases and requirements for product support offerings
  • Provide content for offerings support in close collaboration with strategic product and support delivery teams
  • Review product roadmaps and strategies for new and existing offerings and develop proposals in order to support the achievement of organizational goals
  • Cooperate with Engineering and Product Management teams to ensure supportability of new products
  • Create compelling stories for quarterly service and product reviews that identify product trends and opportunities for improvement
  • Assess educational requirements and content for new offerings, technologies, and services
  • Provide customer and market analyses for technical support of offerings
  • Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or business
  • 5+ years of experience in software product, technical support, or technical management
  • Understanding of enterprise-level server and application environments; knowledge of middleware, developer, and container technologies is a plus
  • Work experience in an enterprise software industry
  • Knowledge of open source software, software development, and engineering processes is a plus
  • Outstanding communication and relationship building skills
