You will be responsible for guidelines and standards following the DFX principles to ensure perfect hardware quality by specification and design.
You will define controls and maintain test equipment at suppliers (e.g. EMS) to ensure proper quality in production and shipment to customers.
Industrial Engineering oversees checklists and audit guidelines for supplier qualification / audits and support those in means of execution by SQEs and evaluation if needed.
Industrial Engineers are a key element in PCP hardware value chain to drive quality and performance of technical solution and production, hence a key element to positive business development and customer satisfaction.
Your responsibilities
Designing guidelines and standards (DFX criteria), design for manufacturability (DFM), design for assembly (DFA), design for testability (DFT) and design for Volume (DFV).
Providing standard supplier guidelines.
Testing equipment at production, testing applied (ICT, FET, HiPot ) following product specifications, strategy, test plan, test procedures in close collaboration with Technology, P+L, P+F. PTR comes from R&D.
Maintaining life cycle management and investing for new / updated products.
Doing close collaboration with SQE (assessments) and following lean Six Sigma as leading principle.

Your background
A master’s degree in electrical / electronic engineering.
Must have minimum of 3 years of experience in hardware development, Industrial Engineering, Continuation Engineering.
Test Design at EMS.
Sound knowledge in hardware design and production.
Must have professional expertise in Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS) or introduction of new products in mass production or similar.
Must possess good communication skills, strong quality mindset, strive for perfection, open and global mindset and must be a team player.
Fluency in English both oral and written.
