JOB DESCRIPTION

A Cluster Director of Conference and Events Sales is responsible for overseeing all aspects of Conference and Events commercial process to deliver financial targets, maximize revenue and profit opportunities.

You and your team will be responsible for processing all incoming conference & event enquiries, site inspections, contracting, and managing client relationships in two hotels with extensive conference facilities.

What will I be doing?

As a Cluster Director of Conference and Events Sales, you are responsible for ensuring smooth, service oriented and efficient commercial process as well as highly effective and motivated team.

Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards :

  • Preparing Strategy, Plan and Forecast for C&E revenues in cooperation with Commercial Director
  • Setup of Pricing (Demand Calendar) for business groups
  • Setting KPIs and priorities for each particular period of the year for the team
  • Control of keeping the standards of sales processes at every level
  • Adherence to all the Hilton sales guidelines and timescales for the C&E area
  • Regular analyse of financial performance and sales processes effectiveness to ensure high conversion
  • Recruit, train and manage performance to ensure professional growth of C&E team members; actively promoting Hilton diversity and inclusion policy
  • Coaching / Organising external and internal trainings for the team; managing motivation scheme.
  • What are we looking for?

    To successfully fill this role, you should possess the attitude, skills, and values that follow :

  • 2-year experience in Conference and Events sales management, preferably in a high-volume environment
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Exceptional leadership skills to create a winning team
  • Passion for delivering exceptional results and build strong customer relationship
  • It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions :

  • Knowledge of hotel CRM and PMS systems : Delphi, Opera
  • Record of success in Conference and Event sales, specifically the ability to deliver revenue targets, high conversion and build strong customer relationships
  • Degree or diploma in Hotel Management or equivalent
