The incumbent has responsibility for evaluating, recommending, implementing and supporting Rightfax enterprise fax solution as well as enterprise print solutions to include badge printing, mobile printing, SAP print and windows print servers.
The incumbent will also be responsible to oversee the level 1 and level 2 support organizations to ensure adequate work instructions are in place and that they are being followed.
The Output Services Engineer will be responsible to interface directly with vendors in order to set standards, and perform lifecycle management of hardware and software systems.
The nature of the position requires excellent oral and written communication skills and proven leadership in complex team situations.
The position will interact with several levels in the organization and will be critical in establishing good relationships with numerous regional IT areas and with other global functions.
Primary activities include, but are not limited to :
Accountable for realization of project, business, cost and schedule objectives.
Support deployment and operations of the Managed Print Program, globally.
Establish and maintain contacts with local site colleagues and HP resources for deployment and support of the MPP solutions.
Provide Engineering , Administration and Level 3 support for :
Mobile Print Solutions
Universal Print Driver configuration and deployment
Windows Print Servers
Oversee design and implementation of deployments and site refreshes to ensure standards are met in terms of ratio of devices to end users, and sizing of devices based on need, and elimination of personal printers.
Subject Matter Expertise in Faxing and printing solutions to provide internal consulting in support of manufacturing, research, and general office based business needs.
Accountable for ensuring that all work is performed in compliance with applicable policies and SDLC.
Minimum of a H.S. diploma with relevant experience.
University degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent fields is highly preferred.
5+ working experience in supporting IT infrastructure services or IT operation, including
2+ years hands-on experience as engineer with Rightfax design, implementation and support in a global environment.
Working knowledge of Fax over IP (FOIP) protocols t.38 & g.711
Experience with using connectors to SAP and Oracle and Exchange / Office 365
Work with business to develop requirements for enterprise fax
