What would you do?
You will be guiding the architecture of our flagship Orion platform. This platform underlies the products in the Network Management and Systems Management space that drive the majority of the company’s revenue.
This high-profile position will be part of a small, talented, and distributed group of platform and product architects each focusing on an individual product or a product line.
You will be working closely with product strategy to identify and solve architectural challenges for upcoming releases. You will also work closely with product owners and engineering leads to ensure we maintain and achieve architectural quality goals for our platform.
Lastly, you will research future product initiatives, which may produce prototypes, design documents, or training sessions for the engineering teams.
You and the entire platform architecture team will work closely with the other architect teams (product architecture and technology strategy) to shepherd in technology, products, and standards into the platform.

What knowledge you bring?
You will have experience designing and implementing features for a large commercial software application. Strong problem solving skills.
Strong command of one or more of the following languages C#, .NET, Java, C, Python, Ruby.
Experience with unit testing and good understanding what unit tests are good for.
Solid understanding of the development processes and practices

Agile SW development methods and experience with tools like Jira / Rally
