About the Team

Our Brand Studio team crafts Typeform's brand, and helps position us as the go-to option for building meaningful conversations at scale.

We do this through beautiful design and unique user experiences.Our Brand Studio has evolved over the last year - we'

ve recently launched our Brand Studio v.2.0, so it's a very exciting time to join the org. Our leaders are Karrie Sanderson, who joined this year as our Chief Marketing Officer (previously at Smartsheet) and Laszlito Kovacs our Senior Director of Creative Expression (previously at WeTransfer) - they bring a wealth of experience building world-class design processes and design thinking to our teams.

Our team's mission is to bring a delightful brand to the center of our culture. This happens through close collaboration with the whole company-from Product and Marketing to People Operations and Customer Success.

Typeform is entering a new stage and scaling quickly, and we're looking for a number of Senior UX Writer to help us evolve our brand as we grow.

About the role

We're looking for a Senior UX Writer with a passion for improving the user experience.

You'll report to our Content Manager, Christabel Larkin, as an essential contributor to v.2.0 of our Core Brand Studio team, developing experiences to engage customers with Typeform'

s experience from end-to-end. As our first dedicated Senior UX Writer, you'll help to grow the UX writing discipline within Brand Studio and directly shape the future of UX writing at Typeform.

Things you will do :

Craft clear, compelling, accessible in-app product copy and navigational web copy for both of our products (Typeform and VideoAsk).

Lead UX initiatives across Brand Studio, collaborating closely with the product design team, web team, and other key stakeholders.

Collaborate with copywriters, designers, researchers and other teams to create flawless user experiences that champion our brand voice.

Collaborate with product designers and managers to align on how we should position new and existing product features, using data and testing to guide you.

Bring clarity to projects through a growth mindset, updating colleagues through succinct communication and proactively finding solutions to resolve doubts.

Bring strategic thinking to help scale content, communicating your approach clearly to stakeholders.

Advocate for UX writing when collaborating with other teams, and help us scale the UX writing pillar within Brand Studio.

Help to inform and align Product and Brand Studio so messaging is consistent across the user journey.

Help shape our content design processes as our website grows and changes.

Develop writing style guides to keep consistency as we scale, and use empathy to know how to adapt tone for different contexts.

Share both UX and general copywriting best practices with colleagues, coaching more junior team members and justifying your craft decisions objectively.

Give and take candid, user-centric feedback with colleagues, and action it swiftly when needed.

Own and develop content models, customer journey maps, and general information architecture.

What you already bring to the table :

You're a native English speaker.

Crisp, clear UX copy is part of your DNA.

You have at least 7 years of experience in UX writing, ideally in scaleups.

You have a portfolio of app copy for both web and mobile applications, including things like headlines, instructional copy, and error messages.

You've collaborated with creative, web, and product teams to help bring consistency to the user journey.

You have experience using user testing platforms to validate your work.

You're comfortable with a fast-paced environment, and flexible when the need arises to change direction.

You can lead projects smoothly and communicate clearly.

You have experience working in an Agile way.

Extra awesome :

You're an American English speaker.

You have Experience with Asana and Figma.

You have experience mentoring junior UX writers.

You're already familiar with our products.
