What you’ll be doing...
Be the operational in-depth technical expert for a complex and bespoke managed data center solution and be the final escalation point.
Act as a key escalation point for tier 2.
Troubleshoot, classify and correlate network incidents and problems on a tier 3 level.
Implement complex and design impacting changes.
Provide a key trusted business partnership with our customer.
Join major incident conference calls to assist with troubleshooting activities.
Write RCA and other reports and assist Service Managers on such reports.
Provide technical and service related training to tier 1 and 2 engineers.
Work shifts as a tier 3 engineer in a 24x7x365 Network Operations Center (NOC).
What we’re looking for...
You’ll need to have :
Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
Four or more years of relevant work experience.
Fluency in English.
Even better if you have :
Long-term experience implementing or operating complex IP networks.
Relevant experience in network operations to a senior level.
Excellent understanding of routing and switching technologies.
Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) or equivalent skills.
Customer and service-oriented mind-set.
Team player approach with excellent communications skills and structured work methods.
ITIL certification or understanding.
